The Bus Stop

As a commoners and a frequent bus passenger, I found these things annoying on my part: Rubbing elbows with many passengers while waiting for a bus going to Ayala. Become like a smoke-fish because of the polluted gas emitted by public and private vehicles running in Edsa not to mention the smokes of the cigarette coming from insensitive bystander. Being bumped with different daily patient tests was not easy on my part. Overcoming all of these things because of Jesus Christ were truly a blessings to me. It serves as my ticket to take one step higher on my faith exercise called waiting.
Let me share this with you friends, these past weeks I became sensitive about men. I found them striking and a bit hard to ignore. Why? Simply because I found them attractive for the fact that like women they too are wonderfully made.

Women, empower your heart

Woman, did you ever felt like Adam don’t value your existence? Even you bargained your heart; the only thing you’ve got from him was a fleeting look. Or maybe you became over confident with your intuition that you “felt like” the feeling was mutual and for a shorter period of time you became emotionally attached with him and at the end you found out that his heart already belongs to someone. Ouch, surely it hurts a lot. But who’s to blame?

Woman, did you ever try this? Because you can’t wait for God’s timing in your life and doubt God’s goodness, you go beyond the limitation. You pursue him; you played the role that is naturally for Adam. You felt like you can’t contain your feelings anymore, so without thinking twice you opened the valve gate of your emotion. But the saddest part, Adam rejected your proposal and apologetically told you that you’re just a friend for him and there’s no way for you to become

his other half? Or in short you’re not the “missing rib”. Ouch, surely it hurts a lot. But who’s to blame?
Or did you ever felt like you already found your Adam? You believed that the man in front of you was destined to you. You became blind to discern the lies, because your flesh obtains pleasure from sharing a cup of tea with Satan. And when he was about to devour your soul, you became awake and you found out that it was just a dream and not reality. Ouch, surely it hurts a lot. But who’s to blame?

Surely girls, it hurts a lot. I exactly knew what it felt like, because I've been there before.

That is why I am bold to throw an encouragement. It’s hard on my part not to do something knowing that I can do all things through Christ who strengthen us. Woman, together let us empower our hearts.

Its official: What’s Hot? Shout it out!

Finally, after weeks of praying, sorting of ideas, indoor and outdoor observation I have the official title of this electronic page (e-page, as I called it) thank God.

Oh man…of course, I need to think of it several times not just one’s, twice or trice. Why? I believe it’s like giving a name to a new born child; it’s a lifetime identity.

Originally, the title should be “VoiceofOne, take a shout!” but for some valid reason, (no need to disclose-it) I’ve changed my mind and “Shout-Out, Shout it now” was born. But most of the people around me say not to repeat words so the next thing that I did was, I made a list of the possible title, and whenever new ideas came out, I saved it on the mobile phone outbox just to make sure not to lose it even if I forget it.

A movie night with my friends

I had a wonderful Pajama’s Movie night at Yang’s house last Friday together with Sarj. Wait, I knew what you are thinking… “Of course not”! The three of us were not wearing a pajama’s nor stripe like pants that closely looks like it, so don’t make it hard for you to figure out what the three of us look like that night. To stretch out, no dress code! Don't ask me why I called it Pajama's Movie night lol. But ofcourse, I would love to see Yang and Sarj wearing colorful pajamas like B1 and B2 of the “famous Bananas in Pyjamas”. For sure the two of them will look good on it…the Best friends in Pyjamasvoila!

A Saturday full of Surprises

Last Saturday was a busy day but I should say that it was not tiring, actually it was a worth treasure moment for me. In the morning, I had fun time with the children of outreach program facilitated by Sumulong Baptist Church-Makati together with Jive youth and Pastor Jeffrey Aspacio.
After the outreach, I hurried to Quezon City. I was invited to attend a seminar hosted by FRONTROW Enterprise Philippines, Inc. (FRONTROW). This company was hailed in the 2010 Philippines Yearbook: The All New Power 88 as the hottest multi-level marketing firm of today's generation. Its office address is located at 3rd floor of IL Terrazzo Mall, Tomas Morato Quezon City, Metro Manila.
I arrived there at around 2:15 P.M, forty five minutes earlier than the schedule time of orientation. I decided to tour around the mall, and treat myself to a Tsokolate flavored ice cream. At the ground floor corner of IL Terrazzo Mall, I found the famous OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship) Bookstore. Since I still had more minutes left before 3:00 P.M, I went inside and look for some good books to read. It was great that they offered a lot of good books for single women to read.

God’s delay does not mean God’s denial.

I had a big smile on my face when I turned off the television after I watched the 700 Club Asia in QTv11. My heart is rejoicing as of this writing knowing that our God is a living God and always in control of whatever situation we have in our lives.

Truly, I must say this statement with the most popular phrase of today we “major major” keep on rushing God for the happening of His promises. Sometimes, some of us when we prayed often said these…Lord, you told me! You promised me! You confirmed it to me! Sometimes we complained, and at times we thought that we were forgotten by Him and even threw our fist to God.

But think about this, what if God answered you back with these questions…did you surrender everything to Me? You promised, you fully follow Me? Did you allow Me to control your life? How can you react to God with these questions?
