God’s delay does not mean God’s denial.

I had a big smile on my face when I turned off the television after I watched the 700 Club Asia in QTv11. My heart is rejoicing as of this writing knowing that our God is a living God and always in control of whatever situation we have in our lives.

Truly, I must say this statement with the most popular phrase of today we “major major” keep on rushing God for the happening of His promises. Sometimes, some of us when we prayed often said these…Lord, you told me! You promised me! You confirmed it to me! Sometimes we complained, and at times we thought that we were forgotten by Him and even threw our fist to God.

But think about this, what if God answered you back with these questions…did you surrender everything to Me? You promised, you fully follow Me? Did you allow Me to control your life? How can you react to God with these questions?

Did you fully surrender everything to Him…as in everything? I believe that this is the “immense question” that you need to address first to yourself before you experience the happening of the promises that He has given to you (same goes with me). The Bible says, “Surrender yourself to the Lord, and wait patiently for him.” Surrender doesn’t weaken you; it strengthens you. God is faithful in His promises; His timing is always perfect, and God fulfills His promises in a letter. Psalm 37:4 clearly says, Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. I believe that the most important part of this verse is the word “delight”. Rick Warren, the author of the Purpose Driven Life noted that bringing enjoyment to God, living for his pleasure, is the purpose of human life. Everything about you is for God and it simply mean you must please the Lord greatly. The Bible says in Revelation 4:11b, for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created. This verse shows that you started from God and because of God you exist. Don’t waste your time focusing on material things, believing that it can make you stable. Stability is a myth; it is always subject to change! God is the one who is only reliable, stable and He never change because He is the God of all ages.

Always expect God to intervene in your earthly affairs, always have a constant conversation with your creator, pray constantly, strengthen and stretch your faith in Jesus Christ. When you pray, never forget to ask for a sign and always consider this question “what the bible says” about your current situation for God breathed every word written on it, learn to practice faith exercise called “waiting”. You must know the value of waiting, deep measure of waiting is really tough, but by His grace and by His power, you can overcome all the earthly impossible things for with God nothing is impossible all you need to do is to trust Him completely with no doubt.
The Bible tells us that the Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. Practice “patience”, be patient in your present situation everything that is happening in your life right now has a purpose. It was written in Ezekiel 3:1, to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven. Enjoy living your life with God and the only strategy is to “focus on Him”. Focus on the things that He is asking from you and not on the things that you are asking from Him. His ways are not your ways and His thoughts are not your thought.
Listen: God is not finish with you yet, His best is yet to come. God’s delay does not mean God’s denial.
As for me, you must allow God to live your life following the Will that He has for you and not your flesh desires. I am talking with my own experience of how God dealt with me and how I continuously feel the incomparable love He has for me.
Prayer for the reader:
Heavenly Father in Jesus name, thank you so much for the salvation, for the life, for the love and for the strength you are giving to us through Jesus Christ. Father, you are an omnipotent God and you are always in control in every situation we have right now here on earth. God, I believe that nothing is impossible with you for you are the creator of all things, the alpha and omega the beginning and the end. Thank you much Jesus Christ for saving me.
If you are praying for the salvation of your unsaved family members, purpose of your existence, ministry, missions, illness or any health related issues, job, broken relationship with friends, family members, feud with your parents or if you are seeking and praying for your future spouse, praying to have a child, debt free, financial and daily needs, personal struggles, commitment, bad habits, vices, talents, extreme depression because of lost, emotional pain, burden, career or whatever it is believe that God already answered it, believe for the happening of it. Let God to work on it, wait for Him, stay focus to God, and have a “doubt free faith”. For whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them, be still and seek Him first. I believe that you will re-commit your life with Jesus Christ; I believe that you will live the life that God design for you and I believe that you will never forget all of these. Remember this, “life here on earth is just a temporary walk”. I believe God will make you always ready to go out to witness for Jesus Christ and to share the hope God has placed in your heart.
If you feel like you are alone, a big failure and unloved it’s a big lie… it’s a work of evil, the enemy want you to suffer it’s not from God. God is love and God love you so much you are bought at a price, Jesus died on the cross for your sins, because of the love that God has for you. God is always with you, and He is waiting for you to call His name. If you still don’t have a personal relationship with God…the good news is God is one pray away. Lift your burden to God and talk with Him. All He need from you is to trust Him completely. I believe and I claimed in Jesus name while you are reading this, the Holy Spirit will touch your heart and speak with you, if you don’t have Jesus Christ in your life, I believe God will speak with you and will give you a seeking heart to know Jesus Christ and draw close to Him. Humble yourself to God, and cry to Him, tell Him everything, in Jesus name repent, ask forgiveness for your sins, admit to God that you need Him in your life, you don’t need to suffer anymore in the situation that you have, Jesus done it before…He suffered for you on the cross of salvation as a ransom for your sins. Don’t let the evil to control your life anymore, let God to do His part and that is to take you out from the darkness and lead you to light. I believe that in God’s time, you will find rest in our Father’s hands.
Heavenly Father, please let this prayer create a bridge that Jesus can walk across from your heart to those who are still unsaved. In our Savior Awesome Name Jesus Christ I ask this prayer Amen and Amen.
Joshua 23:14 says, “Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.

Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

  3. I have long since learned to put my faith in God. He knows what's best for me and when best to give it. I will continue to work hard to get what I want but I leave it up to God when and how He is going to give it to me.

  4. I have to admit I don't have the most fabulous relationship with Him. I very rarely ask him for anything thus I don't ever blame Him for anything. What I do and what happens in my life is a product of decisions by me and other people.

  10. thank you for the reminders, Lyn. Honestly, I am guilty of blaming and questioning God of my life's current issues.I realized, I have some issues that haven't fully surrendered back to Him. I've been asking for one specific things and i QUESTIONED Him why until now it wasn't granted yet when I asked it with pure intention. Sometimes, we, humans are too self-centered that we want to try God with His faithfulness. I felt so sorry about that. I should haven't allow myself to be overcome with self-pity. I struggled a lot in the value of WAITING.

    2. Driving Peace, if God is nothing and nothing is unstable, meaning space has gravity, quantum physics says something can come from nothing. I don't use the word "belief" to describe my trust in Creator for that will imply a possibility of doubt, but I do call the governing of desire "God". It is nature, an absolute, fixed, truly metaphysical system of perfect order.

Faith is a fact, and faith is an act.

      God bless you.
