I asked & waited. He delivered.

I received my early Christmas package last Saturday from God through The Generics Pharmacy.
It started with a desire of providing and sharing the joy I am getting by living on His words to my family members and friends.

Me & Ms. Jam of The Generics Pharmacy

A desire that was put into writing that communicates the message from heaven above. It bridged a gap and fulfilled another desire to expand His kingdom wealth here on earth. Days had passed, almost two quarters of the year were completed and the breath prayer remained unanswered but the faith to Him being good to those who wait for Him and to the souls who seek Him never cease.

Once again, He reminded me. I asked.  Equipped with the words of assurance that He will do whatever I will ask in His name so that the Son may bring glory to the Heavenly Father.
Afternoon of November 5, 2012 my phone rang, and when I answered a woman on the other line was saying that my request was granted. The 20 Bibles I asked from God was awaited to pick-up.

Isn't it amazing? I just waited patiently on my God. The prayer reinforcement from my beloved saints was a plus factor in the completion of His Will. For where two or three come together in His name, there He is in the midst.

Now, I asked Him to complete my list of souls to whom He Will to give the Bibles.

Breath Prayer:

Father You deserves all the Glory and Honor; use us for the fulfillment of your mission. Bless and cleanse your channels of blessings and enable those who are not yet in Jesus Name Amen.

Realization: Focus on Jesus

Our Father in Heaven made me realize these past days that I was being more self-focused. All the while I thought I was excluded from the self-fish category but not in self-focused category. Self-focused in a way that I knew what I need but I was being blinded of the fact that my needs don’t depend on others capacity to fulfill that desires and as the end result  I unconsciously kept on detailing person(s) insensitivity for not performing well to give what I desire to have.

Jesus Lover of  my Soul- Lance 2010
But the good thing about it, since my instructor is all knowing He taught me how to deal with the kind of issues that I had through different instances I encountered these past days. Before this realization, I asked God to teach me to be more selfless and have compassion for others and true enough Jesus Christ will do whatever we ask in His name, to bring glory to the Father. (John 14:13).

Now, He is encouraging me to focus on the hopes, plans and dreams He has for me that will exalt His name and I am sure that this time around I will never be blinded for He will be the one to instruct and teach me which way I should go and the sweetest thing about it He will counsel me with His eye upon me…WOW!  (Psalm 32:8) Lord, You are the Best.

                                       Hebrews 12:2

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

A Ginger Tea Time with loved ones

Tonight, will have a tea moment with Veronica, my beloved niece. Will use the tea cup I bought at Land Mark-Makati in which I personally designed with our names with the used of Ceramic paint pen.

Thinking to prepare a homemade ginger tea for us, she had sore throat for these past days and it will surely give relieves for her.

Based on my research in World Wide Web, I need to prepare thin slices off of a fresh yellow ginger root and to achieve a good ratio I need to have about one teaspoon of ginger per cup of tea. Since, it’s for me and my niece only four (4) cups of water and four (4) teaspoons of ginger slices will do.

Also, I will make an experiment; instead of using boiling water will try an about to hit the boil water in our ginger tea. I will try what Florida Herb House suggested in preparing their Ginger Green Tea.

A big thanks to Herblend for linking me to Florida Herb House website, it added knowledge to my tea nut shell.

Today God’s Reminder

Today God reminded me of this: “Acknowledge people in whom you are reminded how gracious God I am and see to it that they will be encouraged by the words you will use”

If your name is included in this post, I would like to commend you for extending the grace and blessing you received from Jehovah-Jireh, our provider God.
Keziah Wenah, for the birthday gift I received from you, “Coffee in Manila book”. Haven’t read it yet but already on my short list of books that I need to read. I am just finishing my Purity War Book. I appreciate the gesture sis; truly it’s better than late than never.

River Sings, for my first ever “Tomato Brand Wallet”. God delivered His one of the remarkable birthday gift to me through you. Weeks before my birthday, I uttered a breath prayer, and said this: “God, need to have a new wallet to replace my 10 year old leathered wallet given by my deceased Step Mother”.

Ms. Jeanine De Jesus, for the lovely “Fuchsia Pink Bolero Jacket” and Ms. Venus Diaz-Muller for the pair of “off-white Super Comfy shoes”. Can you imagine peeps how great God is for providing me a head to toe apparel sponsor? I Praise God for such an overwhelming experience.

To my wonderful and sweet sister, Beejay Calderon San Buenaventura for a one of a kind  birthday gift , my favorite “ceramic bracelet”.  See, we can’t out-give God. It’s more than we can imagine.

Joshua Adam Haltom, me Baba, thank you for the freshly made and delivered        “four boxes of Pizza Hut” in which many appetite were blessed. With God’s hands distance is not a problem.
The LORD answered Moses, "Is the LORD's arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you. - Numbers 11:23
Allow me to tell you this, birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26

For Tita Olive, for handing to me one of Darlene Sala authored book, entitled “Inspiring Words for Women”. It became one of my sources of daily dose of encouragement

These are just some of the numerous blessings I received from my Heavenly Father, not to mention those daily God’s provisions and miracles I have witnessed from Him including my life.
“Imagine, God provided all my needs with the additional bonus of meeting my wants”. That is Him and He is God.

He said, "Wait for me".

One of the great things that I will boast in my relationship with my fiancée is how God made our relationship stronger each day of our lives. We always reminded each other about this: “Without God’s hands covering and protecting us, and not focusing our eyes and hearts on Him our long distance relationship will be like a sand castle that can easily washout by waves”.

Truly as time goes by, we learned not to depend on our emotions but on God’s way of handling the circumstances that we are in.  I tell you waiting is not an easy task; it requires patience, trust, and hope on the things that we both desire aligning to His words to us accompanied by faith that He is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him (Lamentations 3:25).

Winning the Purity War-Defeating the Spirit of Lustful thoughts & Masturbation

May God’s glory and guidance be upon us as we declared the victory we have over the stronghold of the spirit of masturbation and sexual addiction that the enemy once had in our lives.

I am so encouraged by beloved sisters in Christ who humbly admitted to their selves and confessed the sin that they had in the dark. Through this, the strong bondage of spirit of masturbation was finally defeated in their lives. When they asked forgiveness to our Heavenly Father and came to the point of realizing that their fellowship with God needs to be renewed.

A wonderful woman behind this Godly statement made me realized how powerless we are and that we need God’s power to purify our desires:

“My intimacy with God, I want to have an intimacy with God. That simply motivates me to recognize secret sins and completely surrendered them to God”-An over comer Godly woman.

Another Godly woman from miles away amazed me with her declaration:
“Thanks to God for letting me know that it was a sin...”-A beautiful woman delivered from the spirit of lust.

This is just a beginning of our journey of encouraging one another, declaring God’s power that we are powerless, that we need Him and fully depend on Him for us not to give in to temptation and to fall short of His glory.

Be with me as we shouted, "GO, GO, GO" and be bold telling the world that sex outside the boundary of marriage is a sin against our Creator.

This coming August 18, 2012, Saturday from 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M, all together let us rise up the banner of “Winning the Purity War” as Dr. Jim Cecy will be empowered and guided by the Holy Spirit as he will voice out the topic about:

“A revival of Purity”
“Oneness in Marriage”
“Man’s Abuses”
“Safeguarding my Personal Purity”

Venue:

5F CCF Auditorium, St. Francis Square, Julia Vargas Ave., corner Bank Drive, Ortigas Center Mandaluyong City

What's HOT meets M&G!

After I attended an afternoon Church service last Sunday at CCF Saint Francis, I hurriedly took the escalator from 3rd down to the 2nd floor of Saint Francis Square and plus a few steps, I landed to the M&G Fashion Axessories boutique owned by the humble and talented entrepreneur, shoe and accessory designer Ms. Joy Devilla.

I became excited when I saw different colors and styles of flat and high-heeled shoes displayed on the rack. I even modeled (though I am not a “pro”) the new set of design and fabulous wedges shoes.

Months ago when I first met M&G foot wear. It captured my attention while I was eyeing unique shoe styles that will suit my taste. “I must say that these shoes were manufactured not just to market for profit, but to give value and comfort to our hard working feet”.

M&G is a corporate listed Filipino-owned company pioneering in custom-made fashion accessories utilizing indigenous and local craftsmanship.

Customer empowerment as their other vital artery entails their commitment to provide what the customer’s need and anticipate what they want based on their concerns at a cost lower but definitely at par quality with international brands.

Hence, if its suits and fits you, it’s M&G.

Voice of truth about Masturbation

I was making a research towards masturbation, why people masturbate, the root cause and its effect in relation to physiological, emotional, moral and spiritual aspects.  But before I started my online research I uttered a prayer to the Lord for protection and to shield my mind while reading a related stuff about this topic. I also sent group messages via mobile phone to my sisters in Christ to pray with me.

The main purpose of this research is to bring glory to God and blessed His name.

The scopes are to establish the different views of people towards masturbation, their experiences   and the seriousness it brought into their lives and their coping stages.

While doing this, a question suddenly popped out in my mind: Who am I Lord in your eyes? What and where else you want me to be used to blessed your Name?  I played the song entitled “Who Am I” by Casting Crowns.

I felt that I was afraid, afraid for I am not righteous to please our Father in heaven. But while I was listening to the song and sorting my ideas in my mind, the lyrics loudly said: “Whom shall I fear? Whom shall I fear? Coz I am yours, I am yours”. Praise God that He immediately rebuked the foot hold and the battle that the enemy was trying to put into my mind.

Bear with me as I started my journey with Lord’s guidance in revealing the deepness of this habit and the power of God’s grace to deliver a willing heart from the stronghold of the enemy.

Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

My Shoes! Straight from His Heart

Straight from the office, I rushed to SM Megamall last night to look for a pair of shoes that will go well with my sensitive feet. Buying shoes was one of the minor yet weeks in the making decision that I did. I need to consider first the budget, and the materials it made from for I have an allergic reaction to any synthetic fabricated foot wear. I uttered to “Tatay Lord” (my very personal way of calling God) to provide me a shoes that are suited to what I need.
As I stepped inside the mall, I already had the gut where to get those pair. I headed to the Department Store and excitedly walked to the shoes section and toured around. I’ve seen pairs of different styles, and colors that were enticingly arranged in the shoe rack. Girls, if you are fascinated with stilettos you may want to grab those 4-inch high heels and put it in your cart.
As for me, I need to stay focused on my buying goals; price must within the budget, and comfortably encased my hard working feet. That’s the time I’ll say its Tatay Lord’s leading.

Sole Mate Assorted Shoes
As I turned my back, I saw these girls grabbing their pairs of shoes from a shoe rack and fitting it. I looked closely and saw this offer of Sole Mate “Any 2 for Php. 399.75 ($9.24)” amazingly, not bad plus it conformed to my  goal requirements.

At first, I was not convinced so I turned to the sales lady to confirm it and nicely asked, “Is the price good for 2 pairs?” and she answered with conviction. “Yes”.

Sole Mate Fashionable Designs
I felt like I heard a bell ring, and the next thing I knew I was looking for a size 8 pairs of shoes. But the second requirement must meet; there must be a “Cinderella moment”.

Glad to know that as of this writing I am enjoying the comfort that my fabric case made shoes are giving to my high valued feet. Thank You Tatay Lord for the guidance, I praise Your Holy Name

The Master’s Academy Free homeschool Orientation

Last May of this year I was about to attend a Home Schooling Seminar at CCF, but I changed my plan since there was a fee for it. My fiancée, a homeschool student himself and pursuing a degree in Political Science & Government advised me not to hurry things and wait for the best opportunity to come for there are myriads of it.

"My desire of learning more about Homeschooling started after I heard a friend and a sister in Christ sharing her stories of being hands-on to her kids both raising them and educating them at home".
