Cashew's Parents Fellowship on their 2nd Year

Cashew Tree House Learning Centre (CTHLC) located at Bicol Hills Street, Area B, Group 3, Barangay Payatas, Quezon City 1119, Metro Manila is one of the services provided by the Asian Students Christian Foundation Inc., (ASCF) . The school was established in 1998 to meet a request from the parents of Payatas to provide a good quality pre-school education for their children. The school is predominantly funded by a charitable foundation in the UK called Asian Students Christian Trust (ASCT) who have been caring for children in the Philippines since 1975 and are commanded to providing an early education to these youngsters under their care.
Cashew's vision seeks to promote excellent academic standards whilst practicing Christian beliefs and principles, to enable each child to achieve their full potential.
Their mission seeks to provide an opportunity of a high standard early childhood education program for the less fortunate families and children who live and work in Payatas Dumpsite.

Cashew Parents & Committee at Work
One of the amazing work of God's hands in the Foundation is the growing faith of parents in the cell group which started year 2011. By being committed in serving the Lord through this ministry, the number of children's parents  in the cell group started to multiply and become fruitful in disciple making.

Today, I personally witnessed the celebration of their 2nd year anniversary in worshiping and knowing intimately our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Noemie Borrinaga, a 31 year old and parent of  two kids attending Cashew. Noemie said she accepted Christ as her personal Savior year 2010 and has a 3 years close fellowship in Christ as her Lord. She witnessed God's provision and the peace of Christ in their family specially her relationship with her spouse. Her husband told her that he praise God for the decision she made to worship the King of Kings.
Myra Balucan, a parent of two kids ages six and three years old. Year 2011 when she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. God changed her life including her relationship with her family.  Together with her husband and kids they worship and praise God in Assembly of God in Pampanga Street, Payatas.

Mr. Craig and Mrs. Cristine Burrows together with the leaders and volunteers of the foundation knows by heart that the roles of CTHLC in the society is not just to educate the children of today but to train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it-(Proverbs 22:6).

To make a committed Christ follower by means of equipping them through disciple making following the great commission. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 2:19-29).
